Regarding NIL funds, I think there is some misunderstanding among some folks. NCAA member schools & their employees cannot be involved in soliciting or distributing funds in ANYWAY to student-athletes. The funding process is strictly between the athletes & the commercial entity who desires to "hire" an athlete(s) to promote the entity. The school cannot be involved in the process. No matter how equitable or inequitable funding may be among individual athletes or sports, the school can have no involvement or influence on the process.

You are correct. Earlier predictions for “Pro” have been removed. I haven’t seen that being done before. Anyone have any insight on why this was done?

Yeah, rumor is he announces that he is reclassifying right after Peach Jam. Then it would be a short, wild ride to find out where he's going to be. After Peach Jam, only about 4 weeks left until classes start.

On a related note Cockburn says he will announce his decision Friday. Illinois fans seem to think he may be coming back. I know Cal Tucky has been after him hard. Posted here because I think it impacts the Duren recruitment.

You still cannot pay a player to choose your school and if you subsequently agree to give them X amount for basically nothing ($1M to sign autographs for an hour), you’ll be under scrutiny. It’s not “all fair game”.
