If Walker is eligible, I imagine you can pencil him in at PG, Buffen at the 4, and Jemison at the 5. The competition among the 2 & 3 spot will be intense. Who gets the two starting spots out of Ertel, Johnson, Jackson, Lovan, and Brown? I know we'll play a deep rotation with some bench guys getting as many minutes as starters, but still interesting to think about.

We still are somewhat short on depth inside, so I can see plenty of times that Lovan, Johnson and Brown may be at the "4" as well (as Lovan did quite a bunch last year).

With all the versatility--and especially with Jackson, Walker, Lovan, Jemison, et al.--this should be the best defensive team since the Anderson years. I hope we amp it up to 40 minutes of Hades.

I definitely think Lovan will see time at the 4. He's going to be a matchup nightmare at either position -- too strong for most 3s and too quick for most 4s. I also expect Rongie Gordon to be much improved and Diedhiou will be better than Simeon Kirkland. This team really is built to press and run. It doesn't even have to be full court. The half court trapping was effective last season, and it'll be better with this group.

and with the depth, you get a full fresh line of players every 6 to 7 minutes where the teams playing 7 deep get exhausted

So we have transfers from USF, SetonHall/Tulane, Ole Miss, Clemson, Memphis/Auburn. I'm liking this AK guy!

He could be the best PG in the conference.

Nice. Hard to imagine we’d have him OV last week if we didn’t expect this, now that I think about it. 03-drunk

Assuming that them graduating in the spring is what gives them immediate eligibility.

Jordan Walker has been granted a waiver by the NCAA and is now eligible.

UAB's Jordan Walker (Tulane), Josh LeBlanc (LSU), and Jamal Johnson (Auburn) have all received waivers from the NCAA and are eligible for the 21-22 season, per a school spokesman.
