Overall record 54-29 (This year 6-0 in conf. and 0-3 against real schools, give you a hint)

League record 33-11 ( Should be 44-0 in your pansy-a$$ conf. and your losing your best teams in the conf. and getting even worst pansies )

Non-Conf. record 21-18 ( And a few of those wins were even against Div. 1A schools, most were against Jackson St., La. Tech, La. Monroe, USL, etc.......

5 Bowl Games, 3 USA Titles ( GMAC Mobil Bowl, GMAC Mobil Bowl, GMAC Mobil Bowl, etc..................

Why should we play ya'll...........what would it prove? We already have La. Monroe and Ark. St. for our pansy games. We don't have any more room for warm-up games before we start our tough conf. schedule.

Just for the record, I'd LOVE to replace La. Monroe with USM. USM would be a damn good game and I think it would be a great rivalry. Hell, we looked over Memphis and got our asses handed to us.

I agree with RebelKev, I would love to have USM back on the schedule, hell if we are going to play Houston and Tulane in CUSA, why not put USM back on the schedule. These AD's need to get it together and make this happen.

The reason, as I've said many many times, is USM needs to upgrade their 33,000 seat high school stadium. State & Ole Miss will not agree to a home/home schedule with a school that doesn't have adequate facilities.

Get you head out of your arse and upgrade your stadium!

Why not Memorial stadium? The UGA-UF rivalry is never played at either home either.

....and with Hwy 49 right next to it, if I can remember correctly from spending time at Camp Shelby, I don't know if it's possible to upgrade the stadium without having to move it entirely.

Stadium had nothing to do with it, in the mid 90's USM offered to Play @ Ole Miss & @ State whoever wins hosts the next game.

Besides if Nebraska, Cal, Texas A&M & Illinois are willing to come to Harriesburg why arn't UM & MSU.

As for that OOC record & the teams mentioned above...

1 game vs Jackson St - One more than UM or MSU had
0 games vs La Tech (MSU 1 game)
0 games vs Ul- Monroe (UM has played 2X MSU 3X)
0 Games vs USL

So before you go bashing teams we have played at least know what in the blue hell your talking about.

A little over 41,000 I think. There was another design, that I preferred, that turned the stadium into a kind of horseshoe configuration. It wasn't red brick, but matched the current design. I don't know about Senor Frogs, but if you are ever in NYC, I can suggest some good pubs. :D

If they used that addition I would rennovate the rest of the stadium to match the red brick design.

NewspaperRebel, what an interesting comment. Especially if you take into account this date, September 25, 2004. That is the date Ole Miss travels to Wyoming to play them in their 33, 050 seat stadium

Playing Ole Miss and Mississippi State would be interesting, but I consider it a VERY dead horse. We've moved on, we're winning conference championships, we're going home-and-home with such schools as Nebraska, Texas A&M and others; I think we're doing just fine.
