The only C-USA West school that can play late is UTEP (Mountain time) and it’s only doable in September and October. Night games in the desert at 4000 feet in November is a big 05-nono

If they get the Premier League that'll be huge. But I have a feeling NBC is ready to pay out the nose to keep that TV product.
There were rumors on Twitter this afternoon that ESPN is pessimistic they'll able to win Premier League rights from NBC.

Boise and Nevada play late games in November. El
Paso isn’t worse than Reno and Boise at night.

Saw that. Big article on the ESPN - La Liga deal said this.

It makes sense as NBC and UK's Sky are sister companies now and NBC needs EPL to help sell Peacock subscriptions

RE: Big Sky to ESPN+
The change in ESPN+ no one mentions is Hulu.

I watch a lot of sports but typically don’t launch ESPN+ unless I know the game I want to see.

But with the bundle, one of the upper rows of what’s on Hulu is a row of ESPN+ content. During spring FCS football I wouldn’t be thinking football but I’d go to Hulu to find something to watch and there would some Missouri Valley game and I’d flip into it to watch, even watched a few AState baseball games by stumbling on to them because I don’t keep up with college baseball very closely.

That potential to grab some viewers off Hulu can be a big deal

I guess it could provide a small boost, but most of the benefit in that scenario is to ESPN Plus in general, not really the Big Sky. At best it may provide a small percent increase, mostly on a once in a while basis, rather than steady numbers you can bank on.
