Met new Men’s asst basketball coach
On Monday at the Jack I met new Men’s assistant basketball coach Julius Hodge. He played at NC State and was drafted by the Denver Nuggets

Boy, did he get around. According to his Wikipedia page, Coach Hodge played for 22 different professional teams including brief stints with Denver and Milwaukee in the NBA. Looking at the names of some of the teams he played in many different countries including Canada, Vietnam, China, Lebanon, England, and France to name a few. He also has had 3 prior assistant coaching jobs. I assume he has learned quite a lot about playing basketball and getting along with people from different cultures.

Coach Hodge is originally from Harlem, NY. Maybe he can restore our New York City connection, although he apparently has been away from the city for many years. He has been an assistant in California for the past 5 years- I guess there are plenty of players in California as well.

Did they ever replace Alfred Jordan? I'm not sure.

Did anybody ever learn why Jordan left during the season? Very unusual.

Jordan was hired as the head coach at Clark-Atlanta. Then Clark cancelled their season due to Covid so he was left in limbo. Not sure where that all stands at the moment.
