Board of Regents Meeting June 10 2021
Academic Update: Student-Athletes continue to excel in the classroom. Last month, the NCAA announced that our graduation success rate has hit an all-time high, at 87%, which is 2% higher than our previous all-time high of 85% in 2017-18.

I know I comment nearly every time stats like these come out for EMU, but I can't say enough that as a parent of a student-athlete, these reports reinforce my confidence in Alex's choice to go to EMU. And for potential recruits, if mom and/or dad have any influence over their kid's choice, these stats do matter.

This is especially impressive given the overall six year graduation rate at EMU is 46.9% as of the Fall of 2020.

I am glad you are pleased as as an alum. Our coaching staffs regardless of sport really care about their players future and emphasis academics. That is the real winning in my opinion doing a solid job of preparing young men and women to make,a positive contribution to our world.

Happy for these players getting their degrees. This is a clear result of the type of player that CC and staff are going after. They are getting guys with grit and a deep vision.
