WMU athletics just posted on facebook that they are having an event at 1pm and we can join them for a "historic announcement".

I'm sure I will be let down but I'm hoping for the above.

Could be the Stryker family, considering $300 million is earmarked for the medical school.

$200 million going toward need-based scholarships. How awesome is that??

Also, this is the largest private gift to a public university in US history!!

You're right! We will have plenty of money to keep schools like Alabama from buying him out after we go undefeated for the next 5 years .

The amount and scope of this "gift" sounds a familiar from the perspective of our budget shortages announced last year.

Sounds like a targeted but generous bailout.
