COVID death toll suddenly drops 25% when California county officials make policy change

The COVID-19 death toll in Alameda County decreased from 1,634 to 1,223 on Friday after officials updated their methodology for COVID-19 reporting, now only including people who directly died from COVID-19 in their count.

Previously, Alameda County officials included in their death toll any resident who died while infected the virus — not just those individuals who died directly from COVID-19.

Shouldn't we have only been counting the ones that died directly from the Wuhan flu to begin with? Instead, to maintain the story for political purposes they counted the 99 year old granny with a laundry list of illnesses who had one foot in the grave and one on a banana peel who could just have easily been killed by the common cold as the Wuhan flu.

Well, most people would think so. But if you're trying anything and everything to make the administration at the time look bad, well you have to get creative.

So, they lied.

They’ll overcount COVID deaths but would never overcount votes for their guy.

Yes. Cause there is no accurate data to be had.

This was cook the books for one reason or another, be it Straight cash Homey, political or incompetence etc., from near day one.

If we had XXX number of cases, XXX number of "survivors" and whatever the death rate should have been, do we even approach a 600K dead?

Was it far more deadly than the .0 whatever % that has been death-porned all over for the last year plus?

Or, as Sloe* put it "over the last 115 months"?

Everyone with half a brain knows that the death toll was inflated from the start.

... and that there was no need for lockdowns.

... and that masks are useless.
