Jay Barker's son is still there

He had a nice spring game. Some good tape for him to show. I think he'll land at a FCS like Alabama State or Alabama A&M and probably contend for a starting job this fall.

Jay Barker's son is still there

He was a good high school player (the quarterback on Hoover's most recent state title) and his father - Adrian Abrams - is a former Blazer. But it's not a big loss. A bunch of injuries to the other quarterbacks was the only way he was going to play. They had worked him some at slot receiver this spring. He played a little at slot receiver in the spring and had one pass thrown his way in the spring game. Hope he finds somewhere that he can compete to be the starting quarterback.

I think somewhere like Miles College is more likely.

I was impressed with his play in the spring game. Was hoping he would stay but wish him well.
