RE: Victor E. Bash begins Thursday June 3 !!!
I was at that Wisconsin game and there were very few fans there from what I remember. The interesting thing was that Wisconsin team ended up making the final 4 that year!

Probably won't be buying anything this year. I have so many jerseys and helmets from previous years that I can almost outfit an entire team! I have no more room for anything,

It may be worth it to bid on sitting in the AD’s suite for a game. I would just love to bend his ear for an entire game. After I unload on him, the minimum bid next year may rise to $25,000. I’ll bet they never ever run out of hot dogs up there.

Maybe you can sit next to him in the suite and play an app on your phone of a car horn continuously beeping while screaming "Remember Me? Remember Me, Sean? Remember me?"

If I did that, he’d probably sit on my face. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody.

RE: Victor E. Bash begins Thursday June 3 !!!
i was hoping for a signed helmet or something - not that I need any more signed helmets lol. I do like the black NIU helmet with NIU on one side and the huskie head on the other, since that is actually NIU huskie color - beautiful in my opinion - just wished it was signed by an NIU player or something.

I did put in a bid for the Beebe signed football. I really have no interest in a Vikings or San Fran jersey even if it's an NIU player.

There are three AD suite games available and there are a total of zero bids.

That’s because it would take a big bucks donor to bid on those, and they probably already sit in the AD’s suite with him enjoying bottomless drinks and exciting conversation.

Just watched NIU-Wisconsin 1999 replay. Great memories of the old Fieldhouse!

Also -- as flashed on the screen toward the end -- official attendance of 5,249, even though it was break with most students gone home.

Imagine that: 5,249 vs. a capacity of 6,044. Be great to see a crowd like that in the Convo.

Any word on how the "Bash" went? Wine pull? Auction? Funds raised? Or is it too early to count the change? Just askin' cuz last year the a-dept. freaked on how fast the wine pull went, how much they raised, etc etc.

BTW, in the "Summer Circuit Burno mentioned road games at Indiana and Marquette, also said they were talking with another mid-major and maybe at Missouri (??). He was on the road between California and Houston and spoke on a mobile; some was garbled.

Hammock said they were focused internally and not fretting about GaTech ... the "what we have to do" speech he's given before.

I can assure you from experience (not as a quest, mind you) most of the conversation is far from exciting. Just a lot of ass kissing

Frazier tweeted a few days ago that the fundraising goal was exceeded, but no specifics.

i threw in a few times. Not satisfying unless they show you hard totals, and good to see past year totals. NIU athletic donations seem to creep up every year a bit lately, hope this went well. They should do this online thing every year, but in conjunction with the live event as well.

In the Bash wrap-up, Frazier said he would detail what "records" were exceeded in an upcoming "Frazier's Corner."

In the Frazier’s Corner released today, Sean says we raised $204,100, which is the first time the event has exceeded $200K.

RE: Victor E. Bash begins June 3 ...any results?
Tried to contact athletic office 3 times last week regarding item I had won. Zero response.

Today I called and said I would appreciate a call back regarding the Bash. Nothing. I wasn’t asking to receive the item I just wanted an update/expected ETA. If I was in the area I’d go to the office in person and try to get an update.

Last straw. STFu… and I sincerely mean that. He and his staff of incompetents can go pound sand.

Pathetic.
