That's harsh, who's to say he didn't just turn 18 and she was getting ready to turn 15. I met my first wife under very similar circumstances, I was 18 and she had just turned 15, although she easily passed for 18. We married just after her 18th birthday. I don't think she or anyone in her family or mine considered me a pedophile.

Both are teenagers. You need to get a grip. My great uncle and aunt married at 16 and 14 and were married until they died. This is not uncommon in Europe. These kids are in a relationship much different than being stalked and kidnapped.
This 21 yr old is being labeled a pedo bc he dated this girl from the time they were 17 and 15. Her dad didn't like the guy and when he turned 18 and she was 16 he reported him to cops. Its on his record even though it was never prosecuted.
I may be a bit off base here. But I dont see anything wrong with 18 and 14. Hell my Mom and Dad were 16 and 18 when they got married. And my Mother had two children by the time she was 19. I understand it was different times back then. As far as I'm concerned 14 and 18 are both still children.

So you can’t legally have a beer at 18. Stupid, I get it. When I was 18, the army shipped me to Korea where I could drink and possibly die. At 19 and 20 I was state side but could only legally drink beer and wine coolers on base. The post commander allowed it because we were stationed close enough to Mexico that too many young soldiers were drinking in Mexico and getting into trouble.
I think the right to die for one’s country should determine adulthood and not an arbitrary drinking age that was raised in our lifetimes.

So really, this is kind of situational.. if they were both in high school at the time, it isnt AS weird... if he was one of those guys who graduated from high school (or dropped out) but still managed to be at the store across the street from the school every day hanging out waiting on school to let out, then yeah that adds to the weirdness. But as we all know, there were plenty of those guys as well.
