Well, that didn't last long. He was released after less than a week with Montreal.

Not a good week for Rockets up in Canada, as both Bernard Reedy (Calgary) and Alonzo Russell (Winnipeg) were released.

Kenny Stafford was released by Edmonton reportedly because he was not a "cultural fit" according to the coach. Unclear what that is supposed to mean.
