Congrats to Dayna. Great season.
but, how is it the Rockets only had 1 player make 1st/2nd team all-MAC? They finished 4th, just 1 game behind Kent (same number of losses) and Kent got 5, UT 1. Heck Buffalo has 3 even though they finished 8th. Sounds funny.

Great season for sure 31-22 overall!!!!
Coach Joe is awesome. A great hire!!!!! Possibly one of the best HC hires ever based on results and where the program stood before his hire. UT now has an above average program/team that is quite young. I look forward to watching them in person next year.

He's done well, but the previous coach - Coach Butler - deserves the credit for turning the program around. She inherited a team that hadn't had a winning season since '96, and took them to a share of the MAC West title and a 35-23 record. So, the cupboard wasn't exactly bare when he took over.
Now, on the other hand, Butler has had issues at Rutgers, including accusations of player abuse, and that she allowed her husband to assist in the coaching duties. I don't remember hearing of any issues when she was at UT, so I don't know if there were issues here too or not.

Rutgers is 8-36 this year.
