I'm surprised that Q. Williams hasn't found a new home. He should be a top G5 target.

And I'm wondering about transfers to FCS. Lot of teams in those conferences could use these guys.

I keep saying these guys are accepting "division 1 offers" from FCS schools. It is what it is. I'm not saying some of these guys (Quian and Jairus and Vines) dont have real reasons for leaving, but with the team they have coming back, I'm not sure what the draw is to leave. I do agree that I am shocked Quian hasnt been picked up and looks like the only offers he has is FCS. Maybe there is something more we dont know. He was SUPER talented and I thought could have been special with Preston. Looks like the guys we have replacing them are better anyways.

now my question will be when hamilton rips off a big run or scores touch downs - will the hot take artists on this page who decry that 'transfers are ruining the sacred game of college football' cheer?

Pretty sure it’s Quian Williams. He was fantastic in 2019 and honestly got robbed by not making an All-MAC team. Last season he didn’t produce as much, but it wasn’t all on him by any means. He’s a talented vertical threat, and I was very bummed that he decided to transfer. If he ends up with you guys, you won’t be disappointed.

Just a quick 'roll up.' According to this summary, 6 of 8 of our new transfers are on the OFFENSIVE side of the ball and only two DBs on the DEFENSIVE side of the ball.

As '79 suggested, maybe another or two on the defensive side of the ball to come????

And a very good young man off the field. I had a chance to chat with him a bit after one of our Coach's Luncheons. Very respectful, intelligent young man. Our head coach is very big on the character of the guys he recruits, so in Quian you'd be getting a talented receiver who would also add to the character of the team.

FBS is a fairly big step up from the lesser FCS conferences, but if a player can play, he can play. Cody was all-conference as a frosh. Brandon was all-conference this spring at Bucknell.

On that MAC list it's easy to see that many more kids have the transferred out then transferred in. It's likely that way across the country. The bottom line is that many kids have screwed themselves out of a roster spot on a D1 team and are scrambling to find a home at any level this fall.

Good by me. Just got done watching the Wizards sweep the Indiana Pacers.

Wiz scored between 130+ to 150+ point per game vs. them.

Offense puts fans in the seats. Not sure i like sports like MLB where defense rules. There have been SIX no hitters so far this season.

Understood, but remember many players will come to campus June or July for academics and athletic preparation.

These players need to firm up their plans for a new school.

We gotten what 5 new transfers in the last few days and some haven't gotten as much acclaim as they deserve.

Dennis indeed a good prospect. Believe he caught 16 balls last season in the ACC with Duke.

BTW, if we want to get analytic, he has more size than some of our other WRs. That is good. Need to be able to block.
