Most of the liberal posters are trolls and should be banned

Why I don’t agree with much our liberal friends post, I don’t believe they should be banned. If they are banned this forum would be no better than FB, Twitter or IG where conservative free speech is banned and roundly applauded by liberals like those here.

Free Speech is Free Speech.
Just because the culture canceling liberals have forgotten it, it does not mean conservatives should.

Please yes.. No more canceling just because they think different. Now if they are lame and their ideas suck they should be mocked.

They are....frequently!04-cheers

made me wonder: Are those who cancel the cancel culture, then part of the cancel culture? I agree...mock them mercilessly for the fools they are.

RE: Crimson's Weekly Thread
As is (because I'm a Libertarian), but i'll say this. I bypass most of his threads because they are basically the WHOLE article copied and pasted, or at least a good portion of it, and when the whole front page of this forum is lined with Phantom posts.... I only have limited time to devote to this forum, and I want to be able to identify more quickly what really matters to me, and really deserves my well thought-out responses.

So in conclusion.... Avoid Circumlocution.... PLEASE...

RE: Crimson's Weekly Thread
I really like his threads, mostly very informative, and I mostly read them. That said, sometimes I don't feel like reading them for one reason or other, usually because they've started getting to be really long threads. And the thing is, if I don't feel like reading them

I just don't.

Wow. That was easy.

Exactly. Why is that the case? I feel the same way. It's like... I like what his threads report/have to say, and I mostly agree with his positions, but ...

I just don't wanna...

Leave things as they are, as I am all about free speech. We don't want to become an echo chamber like twitter after they ran most of the conservatives off.

I do agree about the length of the posts, though. Too long.

But to me, you're missing the real problem with them. When he starts the OVERWHELMING majority of the threads here...normally in excess of 50% of them at any one time...it pushes other threads onto subsequent pages of the site and many may not get the exposure, thereby effectively silencing discussion on them.

I'm also concerned for the poor guy's mental health. I tried one day to start only a portion of the threads he starts in a day and it took me an exorbitant amount of time and I gave up after about 5 threads as I was exhausted. He has to spend hours upon hours to maintain this level of activity. The dude should spend some time with his family...my God! 03-wink

If you are concerned with him posting the "overwhelming" number of threads..then post your own. No one is stopping you from bombarding this forum with yours. 07-coffee3

Start your own threads. Nothing will force me to open them either. GTS... as far as I know has never limited free speech here...and won't unless it violates the principle of non aggression...which none of CPs threads have done.

Most of CPs stuff comes from other sources..not his opinions. I would hope as adults and somewhat intelligent posters that we have the ability to do our own research in regard to these sources. Ill be the first to admit...I get a great bit of valuable information from many of the threads he starts. So...I thank him for posting many of the news stories and generating debate and conversation.

Dang...just for giggles, I clicked on his name and the link for thread starts. It looks like only the last 1000 threads started are kept as there's 20 pages of 50 threads.

The dude has started 1,000 threads just since the end of march. 04-jawdrop
