No wonder 3 million Ukrainians have immigrated to Russia, plus millions more who are there working quasi legally. Ukraine population has gone down over 11 million people, or about 20% in the last few decades. The government is so corrupt and inept that people are continuing to vote with their feet. Its beyond a hopeless country.

All they do is vote a new group in, arrest all of the opposition parties, fail at governing, make it worse, and then start over with a new group who arrests all of the new opposition.

Russia keeps the same people in power and arrests everyone else.
I guess the Ukrainian immigrants are keeping the Russian population from declining as fast as the Ukraine. Russia is declining as well in spite of Ukrainian immigrants.
