RE: 2021 C-USA Track and Field Championships
I think Grace Forbes has become the first Rice women's track athlete to win three conference individual titles in the same meet now after her 5000 win. I didn't check the guys - it wouldn't shock me if that happened years (like 80) ago with someone like Fred Wolcott? Unfortunately her time won't get her into the NCAA regionals, but perhaps she can still find a race next weekend to qualify? Or do they cut off the qualifying after this weekend?

Or perhaps they'll just choose to focus on the 1500 and 10,000, or maybe just the 10K at the regionals?

ETA - Wolcott did it 3 straight years (1938-1940)

Grace Forbes, Michelle Fokam, and Eliza Kraule scored more points (61) than 8 of the 13 teams in C-USA.

Hociel Landa gets 9th place in the 5K with 14:36.51. Rice men historically get more 9th place finishes than all other schools combined (or so it seems).
