Not surprised that the Dems would nominate a crazed left wing extremist like Clark. Even Brokenwing can’t defend those radical ideas of hers.

Of all the contenders in Washington Cruz is one I could get behind enthusiastically.

They're like recalcitrant children caught in a lie who refuse to just say ok, you got me and move on. They continue insisting the lie is the truth and then move on as if the issue is settled. They get pissed when you don't play along.

It would have been better if Cruz had concluded with, "Senator Blumenthal, you have a documented history of lying, going back to your alleged Vietnam service, and this is just one more instance."

More proof that they are deceiving the people they claim to represent. They are liars and they are in the act of destroying America and the freedom it has provided its citizens for 250 years. They are in my mind traitors and should be treated as such.

I think we need to 'change the narrative' on Democrats trying to 'destroy America'.

They aren't really trying to do that... at least not in their own minds... so these charges are dismissed....

Any more than the people attempting to stockpile gasoline in garbage bags are attempting to destroy their car trunks. It happens because they're too ignorant to understand the repercussions of their actions.

Turning America into a socialist crap hole like Venezuela is the same as destroying America so we’ll have to agree to disagree.

Symantecs. I don’t deal in those. Call it what it is. Take them seriously when they tell you what they want to do because I can guarantee you they are serious.

Absolutely. The puzzling part - or maybe it really isn't that puzzling - is they are doing it right under our noses with impunity. It's like a child stealing something while being watched by his mother, he knows she's watching but he just no longer cares because he's also discovered there are no consequences.

That may be true for the rank and file but the leadership absolutely is engaged in willful and wanton destruction.

The right trying to maintain a semblance of rationality and decorum is part of why we find ourselves at this crossroads. We all knew what the game was but most of us hoped we were wrong and felt that if given the chance the left would come around and do the right thing because, well, they love this country too, right? WRONG.
