Big government spending will result in massive inflation which will hurt everyone, especially those that can least afford it.

The rich got a huge tax cut during the last administrations so they can afford it.

Of course they can afford it. BUT they don't want to, and they have options, and those options have negative consequences for investment, growth, and jobs in the economy of the USA. So unless we implement a Gestapo or SS or KGB to prevent their exercise of those other options, the inevitable result will be hardship for the working class, who CANNOT afford it. But get them on handouts and they'll vote democrat.
