Michael Katz to volunteer with Tribe Baseball for the rest of the season

Nice writeup from Dave Johnson about a former player helping out with the team. It also serves as a reminder that the baseball team is in contention for the CAA playoffs despite having an incomplete coaching staff.

Brief reminder from the article about Katz's place in the W&M record books:
"Among W&M's all-time leaders, Katz ranks sixth in hits (240), eighth in home runs (29), and fourth in RBI (184) despite playing only three seasons. As a junior in 2014, he set school records with 97 hits and 79 RBI in only 56 games — unworldly per-game averages of 1.7 and 1.4, respectively. Not surprisingly, they still stand."

Maybe he could get Geico to transfer him from NOVA to the Peninsula. Would be fun to see him around on a more permanent basis.
