His intended point is just crap and lies. In 2017, latest analysis I could find, the top 10% earned $5.2 trillion in gross income and paid over $1.2 trillion in federal income tax and he’s trying to say they somehow avoided $700 billion to $1.3 trillion in taxes that the IRS could get if they had more people.
So he’s saying that they should be paying a higher effective tax rate than the stated nominal rate? Idiot. By the way, those 10% of people paid 71% of federal tax receipts.

Padding the employee rolls of any government agency is a good thing, right??
What do you think would be the real impact of doing what Biden proposes?
Remember, in the words of the immortal Mouse Davis, the taxpayers "get the chalk last." Do you think they will just stay here and pay all those extra taxes? Or do you think they will move their income into entities and jurisdictions where they can avoid those taxes? And if they do the latter, which at least some of them will surely do, investment and growth and jobs will inevitably go with them.
Is this a take from a Dr Seuss book? Maybe he should start back at one fish two fish red fish blue fish before he goes for astronomical numbers!
Wait, he couldn’t be because Dr. Seuss was a white supremacist racist and all of his children’s books need to be removed to keep the inferior lefties from thinking it could have racial overtones. Looney Tunes need not be watched either although the longer they continue with their agenda and talking points the closer they resemble Looney Tunes.
