I'm going to avoid a lot of controversy and just stick to players.
John Cappelletti - Only Penn Stater to ever win the Heisman Trophy
Franco Harris - Pro Football Hall of Famer
Todd Blackledge - QB of PSU's first national championship
Kerry Collins - Should of won the national championship or at least shared it
I can't think of any relevant non football PSU athletes.
I would have had two among NFL Hall of Famers Dave Robinson, Lenny Moore and Jack Ham on instead of Blackledge and Collins.
I know it's touchy as to include pro achievements on a college Mt. Rushmore, but I would do that. I would put a guy who was an NFL Hall of Famer but had a so-so career at my college on over a guy who was an All-American at the school but an NFL dud. Save for winning the Heisman, I'd always have space for Heisman winners.

Just considering athletes
Wilt Chamberlain, Gale Sayers, John Riggins, Jim Ryun
Not sure if Ryun should be ahead of Paul Pierce or Danny Manning or Lynette Woodward. Will they be as remembered in 30 years like the names I mentioned.

Forgot Warner was on the 1982 team. I was only 9 at the time. I'd probably take him over Blackledge. Blackledge or Kerry Collins would be a good debate. I also forgot about Larry Johnson. Barkley just seems too new at this stage. I'm not really big on defensive players.

Collins wasn't a dud. He's just not good enough to make this list. KiJana Carter was the stud on his team. Too bad he blew his knee out with the Bengals.

Forgot Kerry Collins made the Super Bowl with the Giants. He also had a great season with the Panthers, making the NFC Championship Game, losing to the Packers. I remember the 1994 team more than the 1982 team and it's worth noting that the 1982 team lost a game so you can argue the 1994 team was better even though they don't have the national championship. Collins definitely over Blackledge if I had to choose a QB.
I'll take Harris (1971), Cappelletti (1973), Warner (1982), and Collins (1994). Penn State Linebacker U? Maybe we should be Running Back U. Me got Harris, Cappelletti, Warner, Larry Johnson, Saquon Barkley, and Lenny Moore.

Collins was one of those NFL survivors. Never very good, but managed to chalk up 17 seasons in the league.

Lol, no I did not.
Rudy is a huge a$$hole, an opportunist and a con man.
How so? I’m curious. I’m a huge Irish fan. Hadn’t heard this side before.
