Saluki, change of subject lol. Since you got The Nature Boy in your signature what is the best opponent and match you ever saw of his?

The one where Lawler "won" the title on Channel 5 wrestling. LOL.
I didn't really seem many of the OLD matches of his , but in my memories his late 80's Steamboat matches were epic.
And despite being the top dog, he was fantastic in putting over newer guys, like Kerry Von Erich (the ol' backslide for the 1-2-3) and Sting in the 60 minute Iron Man match.

I'm 50 in 2 weeks and have watched wrestling for 45 years. To this day, the best interview there ever was, or will be, is Dusty Rhodes Hard Times in response to Ric Flair. I'm at work and can't link it. Can anybody put the YouTube clip on here for those who have never seen it?

This kid is the one frosh who fans should have some expectations for really helping this year.
Metro POY, runner up for Florida 3A POY, top 30 recruit, multiple summer all-star camp invites.
He’s very well spoken.

Good goal. And at least on the surface doesn't seem concerned about his role as long as helps reach that goal.

Kerry used to live a couple of blocks from me growing up (he was much older than me). He was always really kind to neighborhood kids and we’d all see him at the local gym. He moved to another city not long before he died but it was really hard on the neighborhood pack of kids.

Dusty was awesome. Austin Idol is my favorite of the old school Mempho wrastlers.

Grew up on channel 5 wrestling. Used to be the only live wrestling broadcasted. Fabulous Ones actually introduced me to music videos. Jimmy Hart and "Lance Russell's Nose" was good time. The only person who could get to watch anything else was the Nature Boy. Most got their start in Memphis. Randy Savage even Lex Luger. He played for the Showboats i think.

I wasn't going there because this is a Josh Minott thread but the memories started flowing with Don, Jackie, and Rough House Fargo. Yeah... I'm that old.
Memphis got a good one with Minott.

I was amazed to learn he lost the lower part of one of his legs BEFORE he went to WWF and still was able to wrestle.

You seem to cherry pick rankings to fit a narrative.
