RE: Protective Life makes plans to hear from residents near new downtown stadium
If anyone has noticed, which most of us have, the seats opposite the press box and camera wells are priced to create the rowdiest section of fans right on TV...

Thanks for both the thoughtful responses and the "knee jerk" responses as well. If the official UAB reply is "NO!!" to playing a P5 game at Legion Field, then that is an issue settled. I am certainly in no position to affect Blazer AD answers on scheduling. The only two advantages to playing at Legion Field would be greater seating capacity and ease of parking for those who are from distant out of town locations. Legion Field is NOT about to collapse, but it does have the numerous fan-centric deficiencies often described on this forum. I am delighted to see UAB in the new BJCC owned Protective Stadium which gives UAB total control over sales and premiums for all seating and will likely serve its needs for decades to come.
