I loved the tidewater tides but nothing beats Macon whoopee. What's your favorite?

There was a HS we would occasionally play in Ohio called the Norwalk "Truckers". Their girls sports teams went by "Lady Truckers".

As for colleges:

My favorite high school mascot in Ohio is the Glenville Tarblooders. A Tarblooder was a person who installed the ties for the railroads. Each tie was soaked in tar and the workers worked so hard they were said to sweat "tar" and "blood". Thus, the mascot symbolized hard working, committed, dedicated individuals in the school and community.

The most hilarious mascot is the John Marshall High Lawyers. Seriously??

They're not my favorite, but Dragons & Spiders are 2 I'm surprised any big league team isn't using, w/ how common Bears, Lions, Tigers are.

Glenville produced quite a few star football players including Troy Smith, Ted Ginn Jr., and Marshon Lattimore among others.

(Also TV's Steve Harvey, which I just found out)
