The Glory Days
My daughter and her family are living with us for a while during the construction of their new home, so I am introducing my son-in-law to the good old days of college basketball. We just watched Mourning and Mutombo put it on Duke. Now we are watching one of the great games from the glory years of the old Big East.

Georgetown (#1) and Patrick Ewing vs. St. John's (3#) and Chris Mullin. The Hoyas were riding a 29-game winning streak, and St. John's had been the last team to beat them. St. John's won it by a point. About as good as it gets in basketball.

RE: The Glory Days
And, of course, the arena was packed to the rafters with rabid basketball fans.
