seen video on the recent 2022 offers. still like wolf the best. roy is a competitive shifty below the rim pg with nice feel. jumper mechanics are a little off center but his release is nice and he shoots a soft ball. good passer. carney is a bit undersized for a scoring guard at about 6 feet but very quick w a score from anywhere mentality. he's probably an easier get in that P5s are not gonna offer a thin 6 foot shooting guard, but super productive. avg 30 points a game and was big school all state as a jr in Pennsylvania.

OK...... I give up..... what is a "strong" guard ?? This is the first time I've heard of this designation/position. I'm certainly familiar with 1's and 2's and point and shooting but strong is new to me.

Fill me in

Go Rockets!

Said this before, other than a great campus environment and excellent academics, why would anyone worth their grain of salt go to Miami of Ohio. Been there many times watching UT, Kent State, and Wright State and the most people they had for those games were about 1200. Their student body barely shows up for basketball, let along for football.

From Prep Hoops - "Parks is a high major, potential top 100 nationally ranked big just kinda hiding in plain sight. The worst kept secret in Ohio is officially out of the bag as Parks dominated against All Ohio Red in a huge victory for the program. Parks does his work early and gets great position in the post. The Ohio Buckets also run a really nice lob play for Parks that he threw down four dunks off of in the two games I watched. Parks should be getting attention from national recruiting services yesterday, but he might have to wait because it seems like no national service caught wind of his performances this weekend. There are a handful of people who know just how special Parks is and high major programs will likely start offering the second they can see him in person."

From 247
Quote:Asked about his best attributes, Parks said, “I have to do whatever I can. I have to improve on everything right now. I want to work on my turnaround jump shot from 10 or 15 feet away. I’m working on my hook shot and my back-to-the-basket moves.”

Parks reflected on his high school season.

“We did all right,” he said. “We had times when we were down. We had a good coach and he helped us fight back. It could have gone better. There is always room to improve.”

Ohio U. and head coach Jeff Boals was the first program to offer Parks. Toledo came in with an offer on Monday.

“I thought that was huge how a smaller D-I school like OU could come out and win an NCAA game,” Parks said of the Bobcats. “I love how they coach and do things down there. They do it the right way. I’m always watching to see how they do.”

UT will have to do better than OU's sales approach.

RE: Basketball Offer 4 This Week
guys UT and OU recruit and offer this young in their hs career like 23' Parks typically become big10 type recruits and don't go to the MAC. UT gets a jump in case Parks has an injury or issue that postpones his development and recruiting interest. If he stays healthy and keeps improving he will have a long list of options and UT will probably move on. occasionally, a guy like that just keeps generating mid major interest (like rollins) and you avoid going head to head with big10 programs, but usually they blow up too much.

What makes you think that Ohio and their staff have such a superior advantage over the University of Toledo in regards to selling their program ??
Boals is a good coach granted, but a couple of NCAA tourney wins IMO would not separate UT and OU from an inside track on recruiting this kid ...

Calm down, I was only referring what Parks had said about the OU program. Base on his own words, OU may have the inside step. That was it.

I am calm, and I did not stutter when I posed a legitimate question to you... - “What makes you think that Ohio and their staff have such a superior advantage over the University of Toledo in regards to selling their program...
