BYU has some discrimination issues in general: sexual, racial and religious

I know a White male who got full scholly to BYU and then got discriminated against for not converting --happened at the beginning of his second year. So he joined a gang of the other kids who refused to convert. They had all gotten taken to the weirdo ceremony where they are asked to convert.

My post really had nothing to do with BYU. It was just pointing out that NASCAR guy was completely making up information. Ala, stating EVERY BIG 12 school had homosexual right groups protesting BYU. I just find it very hard to believe that the largest Baptist school in the country has homosexual rights groups.

The Y is as corrupt as any other program or university. The problem is they hide behind their religion and cover up any and all unsavory dealings. As far as being a student, no one tells you about the spying and snitching. It’s like living with pod people. Or that if your not Mormon or have a skin color olive or darker, your a 2nd class citizen. And they sadistically take glee in reminding you. Yes, there are good people that will treat you fairly, but the true believers are hard stop. Maybe it’s changed? If I had a say, I would avoid getting involved with them.

BYU was solid last year.

They beat Navy 55-3 and Houston by 17 and they were beating UCF 49-10 before they put the cheerleaders in.

Heck if I were BYU I would want to join the AAC as well...Seeing that our champion is going to get the Access Slot most years...

There are other objections posted. The forcing of their religion on those who are not 'of the body'. The punishment of any sexual act before marriage. The no alcohol at tail gates. lol No games on Sunday.

Do you guys seriously only see the race one? The 'race one' was just released in Feb 2021 by BYU itself with BYU's own suggestions for how they can improve.

Let's see if I can get clearer: It was BYU's own 'diatribe' about their own shortcomings when it comes to racial discrimination. I found it interesting and kind of refreshing that they were examining themselves. lol. And no, I don't hate them. Hate would only feed their fanaticism.

But if there were a poll here, I would vote no to having them in our conference. shrug.
