Many of us came over to this board from Killerfrogs because the Traitors kept coming across like a bunch of arses. Winged Eagle, whether you liked him or not, always had some great posts. Occaisonally, somebody would put stir his nest up and he went off on him, but many of the times it was very funny in my opinion. Winged does have a problem with authority, but many of us can relate to that as well.

The only two things that I ever saw the moderators do at Killerfrogs was remove posts with curse words (not the ones that track with heck, darn, crap, but the really bad ones) and remove any type of nudity from the board. Many of the TCU posters thought it was funny as heck also when Winged really stirred up the arrogant UL nation on the board also. It was only when TCU was talking about leaving and how they deserved to be in a BCS bowl that Winged started putting them in their place. Result - they banned him. He was the guy along with a few other USM posters that convinced most of us to come over to this board.

I saw one of the admins talk about WE attacking uabpikapp by calling him a name. I know UABpikapp and he can take it...trust me. He has a tendancy to stir up some people's feathers on the uab.rivals message board. The point I am trying to make is that admins that don't know us or our personalities start banning some of the best posters. We all have a tendancy to get out of hand sometimes in our posts. If the posts are offensive, then delete them. But banning a guy, so what if he called you Hitler or a ******? Is it right, nope. Let me see, what was the phrase my parents taught me...."sticks and stones may brake my bones, but words will never hurt me." As for the money issue, if the admins don't like some of the C-USA posters and they like throwing the "we pay for this board" bs, then tell me how much money you guys need to help support the message board and let us (MUther and Umbluegray) police ourselves.

Please vote to unban Winged Eagle!

What the heck does killerfrogs have to do with anything? This is not killerfrogs. Who cares what WingedEagle did against the Loserville/TPU/Cinci-nad-less fans on another board. Get over it. WingedEagle did it to himself. Posting here is not a right, it is a privilege. One that he did not take seriously enough to act like a f'ing adult. He gambled and he lost. Move on & get over it.

If you knew the history of the person Winged is, you wouldn't want him on this board. I thought maybe when he came over here, this might finally be the board he wouldn't show his colors on. Well, I was wrong. He has posted and done stuff on USM boards you wouldn't believe. Poronography and many other bad things. I present as evidence to back my case a copy I made of his last tantrum on Eagle Talk before it got deleted. This is just a part of pages he covered up with this stuff. Wrong! I know of two Admins that are fans of Toledo and UCF accordingly. Also, I used to be an admin here before I stepped down. I am a Toledo fan.

I can tell you that I know most of the admins here and even though the are fans of a school in the BCS they do not look down on the schools labeled as "mid-majors"!

Just because he likes Ole Miss doesn't make him the enemy. We don't judge you for being a UAB fan.

You also have three (semi-competent :) ) moderators from non-BCS schools on this board now. I promise that anyone who comes on here and acts with no respect and personal attacks that went deeper than just smack will get their posts handled in a prompt and necessary fashion. And while I don't ever expect RK or GTS to act in such a way (not their style) I know that they would expect their moderators to take the same action with them as any other poster on this board should they have a slide in common sense. I've never even seen RebelKev on the MAC board. I am sure he was only here to suport USM. IF he was out to get non-BCS fans then he would have trashed the MAC board at some point in the last two years we have lived here on NCAAbbs. There have never been bans here that weren't recommended by posters on the respective boards.

We have a good board here. We have admins dedicated to growing with increased use. We get as much traffic as any other board on here. If we can put this nastiness behind us we can make this one of the best places to be on the net for inter-school, inter-conference interaction. I will say no more on this either as everyone seems ready to move on.

I defended Winged the first time but he crossed the line again. GTS & Rebel had a right to ban him the second time point blank.
