Looks good. He had 28 catches with 10 touchdowns in seven games this season. Had the game winning catch (and it was a beauty) in a win over then-No. 2 ranked Iowa Western. Tape looks good. He said in his tweet that he has three seasons of remaining eligibility.

Was originally a class of 18 high school recruit. Wonder what his story is?

Big target, seems to have good hands. Attacks the ball. Reminds me a little of Watkins in a couple of these clips with his hands and high-point instincts. Needs to work on his speed and quickness, and get a lot crisper with his routes. In this video, he goes to the ground unnecessarily on some of these catches. Doesn't show much elusiveness in the open field, at least in this highlight, and he's going to need to get better off the line because the DBs in Division I are going to be a lot more physical than he sees in Juco.

I think most of UAB's juco receivers have taken at least half a season to figure out what they were doing. But many of them have also developed into bigtime players (Ubosi, Watsins, Mitchell and Shropshire, who figured it out in the latter half of the 2020 season. Remains to be seen if Johnson-Sanders can take a leap forward, but that sure would be huge if he does (I think he will).

Here are his 2020 highlights just uploaded. He really does remind me of Austin.

Good hands and good speed. Both will only get better with reps and better instruction. Really sells the dig route but he won't see much of those 10 yard cushions anymore. interior routes are a little sloppy but frankly that's easy to do when DBs are running away like you've got some kind of disease. Teaching him to get off press coverage will be key because if he gets behind the guy he'll eat DBs alive
