Cal Baptist Women's water polo season over
They lost to Fresno State in the semi finals of the Golden Coast Conference.

It was a banner season for CBU. The Lancers have matched their best-ever NCAA ranking at No. 17 in the country this season and their top-four seed and finish in the GCC tied for the second-best marks in program history. CBU's third-place finish in 2016 stands as a team best since it joined the conference in 2014. The Lancers played a very challenging schedule in 2021, with nine top-14 opponents, including six top-10 road games.

As you may remember, CBU men made the NCAA national tournament and finished ranked 6th in the nation last month.

Todor, do you know how many schools offer water polo? I am just curious since being ranked in the top 25 for some sports is a lot easier than being rank for other sports. For example, GCU is consistently ranked in the top 25 for men's volleyball and women's beach volleyball. However, I have a sneaky suspicion that there are less than 50 schools offering those sports in all of the NCAA.
