Kind of CUSA related - new Baylor women's basketball coach
Nicki Collen was hired today to become Baylor's new women's basketball coach (after Kim Mulkey left to LSU). I really can't comment on whether it's a good move for Baylor or not, but the odd thing to me is the WNBA season starts in 2 days (with preseason games - the real season starts on May 14).

The kind of CUSA tie-in to the move is that Atlanta is naming Mike Peterson as interim head coach of Atlanta. He was a college basketball coach at a lot of places, but I remember him most recently as the UNT women's basketball coach (from 2012 to 2015).

It's really hard to fault players for jumping ship left and right when you see coaches doing the same for more money all the time themselves. I just don't recall any coaches leaving 2 days before a season begins (well maybe they were fired, but not leaving on their own).
