Coke no longer woke.
Cancel culture progressive filth take note. Republicans are pushing back.

You don’t appease Prog filth. You look there ugly little asses right in their eyes as you push a stake right through their hearts.

Coke not woke?

read the tea leaves: Within a span of three weeks, the company came under public fire from prominent Republicans, swiftly de-escalated its rhetoric on the Georgia law, saw its general counsel hastily resign, and saw his replacement declare a “pause” on his most heavily criticized efforts. It certainly looks as if Coca-Cola has reached a corporate decision to pull back from a partisan and ideological posture that actively antagonized half the country, including the state government of where Coca-Cola is headquartered.

Given that any consumer staple business typically seeks the largest customer base possible (especially a company as large as Coca-Cola), its mind boggling that any company would ever get involved in politics when its basically a 50-50 nation. There is literally nothing to gain by wieghing in on a question when nobody is requiring you to give an opinion. Its an unforced error to get involved.

The only thing more surprising than Coke's original incredibly stupid decision to get involved in politics---was that it took THREE WEEKS for the adults in the room to figure out how stupid it was and to reverse course. The level of disconnect with common sense and reality among these high level executives is absolutely shocking.

The progressives can never be appeased. Yes, you can agree with them and do what they want, but that only lasts for a while. They'll keep coming back for more and more. It's why they eventually eat their own. Best to just avoid all that nonsense form the beginning before one gets caught up in that cyclone of madness.

Encouraging news in the OP. But it will take a lot more than that.

I’ll check back in a year or two and see how things are going. Meanwhile, the only place where I would even consider Coca Cola products is at Chick-fil-A, and usually get water instead even there.

I guess I see it differently. I'm not surprised at all. They obviously are Liberals or they wouldn't have gone out on that limb to begin with. The fact that they ARE Liberals means (to me) that they think that most everybody thinks like they do, and the ones that don't need to be punished to be brought into the fold.

When you hear the Liberal rhetoric spewed 24/7 on the vast majority of the media outlets, and have been indoctrinated for 12+ years in the public school systems, colleges, and universities, it is a given that they see the whole world through blue tinted glasses and there is nothing else to discuss outside of the Liberal party lines.

Yup, I'll only drink it as a last resort.
Maybe they'll make $1.00 a year off me.

Yup. lol---I actually worked for the local Coca-Cola bottler when that went down as a lowly Account Manager (first job out of college). We were given canned answers---something to the effect that old Coke was gone and never never returning because New Coke was so much better. I remember it being a horrible time to work there. Lots of customers would berate us as if we had ruined their lives. lol---I remember telling one angry customer--"Trust me, nobody who might actually have to lift a case of actual product had anything to do with that decision." New Coke came out in April and--after insisting it was gone forever---"Classic Coke" returned to stores by some time in the summer of that same year. So---it was only a few months---but the backlash on the front lines was so constant it felt like it drug on an entire year.

Half Lenonade and half unsweetened Tea is only way to go at Chikfila

Most liberals drink Nehi grape soda (when $1 wine is unavailable) anyway. Maybe that’s the market sector they were aiming for.....

Pepsi is much better. No, really. Coke leaves an aftertaste in your mouth, pepsi doesn't. I've started buying Pepsi way before Coke went Communist. Now, I'll ONLY buy Pepsi and try to stay away from any of their other Coke products.

I'm glad that they're suffering. Let them get rich in China.
