Agreed. No more big city "commuter" schools with large enrollments and zero football history and no fan base. Good lord, GA State is exactly the opposite of what we need in CUSA.

I say stay at 13. But if we do add someone, it needs to be a high quality football and men's basketball school, with a long history of winning in both sports, and good fan bases. Those are the two money making sports in today's NCAA.

Yes, you dont need us...

App State, Louisiana, Liberty, Coastal Carolina, JMU.

Make your case Ga State. No troll, how would your program offer more than many of those options?
There is no scenario in this reality where GSU would entertain joining CUSA. I can't think of any SBC school that would. But certainly we would be the last.

I did not ask if you would join CUSA. I asked you, what makes Ga State stand out from the schools I mentioned?

If a regional split happens, it is quite possible that would be your competition for spot in an Eastern based conference.

I picked GaSt because they have good basketball and are two hours via interstate from UAB.

Man I get it, it was just your hypothetical scenario and that's cool. I was mostly just talking to the Georgia State fan in the event an actual East-West split occur...

Marshall is a soccer school, and the SEC doesn't play that sport.

Yeah I like Georgia State. They're actually good at more than 1 sport.
