Passat25, if you will be kind enough to share with me how to properly post title threads I will be happy to try to do it better. I may be fixing to turn 50 in a few days but I can certainly learn new tricks.

I had no problem understanding that this was a Willie Kemp thread. I had no problem remembering who Willie Kemp was/is. Everything else is in the thread.

Just use a verb. Would have helped us know what it was about better without having to click... separating the difference between:
"Willie Kemp returns"
"Willie Kemp arrested"
"Willie Kemp running for president of his local HOA"

Did you understand what I wrote? Did you have to click a link to figure out what I was talking about, or was my verbiage sufficient by itself?

Don't need no stinkin verb. How about the above? That way people don't think the bad things. But they click to find out the good thing. win win

'Win' can be a verb or a noun. So .....it's a great word. When used twice--the greatness is multiplied ten to a hundredfold.

My experience has been that the really older ones show up because it’s an event for them and they get to bicker about nothing. I’m in the “I care but all the work has been done in the background so stop your babbling and let’s get this required meeting over with” crowd.

I like it. We are bringing in coaches who are proud to be Tigers. When your coaches have a strong connection, like Coach Penny and Coach Kemp, you tend to instill pride in the team, something that could give the team a little extra when needed in a tight game.

By destroying his confidence. Because Cal only knows one way to motivate people. His intimidation doesn't work on all people.

I would love to have seen Kemp play for a coach like Penny.

This is great news, both for our players and for Willie! Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. And Willie was one of the best, and one of my all-time favorites. I hope he gets a standing ovation at the first game.
