I mean, the dude DID ask for tips on how to make it better. I suggested a verb, and now there's a full scale brawl going on.

Oh, I was simply being a smartass when I asked for tips.

Based on the first post, it might as well have just said “Davion”

You know that when a thread like this hangs around the top of the board that it has descended into insults and babble.

Yep - Wayne Chism. I think Pearl was all over Willie, trying to get him to come east.

Wayne's mom wanted him to go to UTK. So Cal never really went after him hard. But Cal did send the message to Pearl that if he didn't back off Willie, that Cal would go after Wayne.

Since we are talking about past Memphis players.. last week I met Anthony Douglas at the hospital I work.. I knew he was a basketball player.. We had a little chat.. He went to East High and played with Penny at Memphis.. He is been a correctional officer for a quite a bit.. Really nice guy.

Apparently he was a McDonald All American coming out of East High.. Went undrafted in the 1993 NBA Draft.

Those East/Treadwell games his and Dr. Billy's senior year versus junior-year Penny were massive. did they play 4 times that year?

Great memories. Big 6 was valuable during his time here. He scored 20 against Arkansas during the upset and almost carried us to victory in Penny's first game. Larry had forgot to put 6 in the game in the previous exhibition game and 6 came off the bench and scored 20+ against DePaul. Wish we had a 6 on this team.

Heck, I'd take a Todd Mundt or a Kelvin Allen off that team if Douglas wasn't available.

True. I wonder how Penny would feel since he's the coach now and played with them.
