Had not seen a thread on this. Am still a bit in shock.

Very sad. Smart, Strong, Successful, Hard Working guy. Set NFL combine record for bench press until steroid infused Tony Mandarich broke his record by one rep.

Also, remember Notre Dame kicking Rice's backside in 1988 but Courtney manhandling high profile All-American Chris Zorich which was the catalyst for getting Courtney drafted so early. And of course, he performed amazingly at the NFL level and even more in life beyond football.
