You guys at aac have always wanted to be a p5. If you want that you have to split and/or go after west virginia. Splitting into 2 separate conferences would allow you to go after byu,Colorado st,boise st and others and as far as west virginia goes, I said this before pony up and go after a p5. Footprint is better for them and show p5 you mean business. You will immediately be taken serious by them and also by the vowels and playoff committee. Yeh, it us a long shot, but you can afford it. Oh, I know you already hate idea, but here is your 2 conferences.
AAC EAST
Cincinnati
Temple
Navy(VCU)
East Carolina
Central Florida
South Florida
Memphis
West Virginia
Army(Dayton)
Charlotte,Marshall,UMass,UAB,ODU(whichever)

AAC WEST
Tulane
Tulsa
SMU
Houston
Colorado St
BYU
Boise St
UNLV
San Diego St
New Mexico
Here's where it gets wild, Wichita St and Gonzaga basketball.

Hell, anyone would take you seriously then. What you have now ain't gonna do it

RE: Reboot
Why on earth would West Virginia want to come to the AAC? And why on earth would we add Charlotte, ODU or UNLV? That would make us less likely to be accepted by P5

West virginia would come maybe because of less footprint for non revenue sports and yes you would have to make it financially attractive them to sell it I did not say you had to pick either Charlotte or odu, nice market though. Just remember Cincinnati going perfect and Ucf going perfect and look no chance for title game.wake up,man.

RE: Reboot
If WVU wants to come slum it up with us, more power to them but I think your premise is pretty unrealistic (even by expansion thread standards lol).
