MSU OT Transfers to CMU
Michigan State offensive tackle Justin Stevens (6-6, 295) announced his transfer to Central Michigan this afternoon via Twitter.

A 2020 graduate of Mississauga (Ont.) Clarkson Football North Prep where he was teammates with 2020 CMU recruit Cade Cote, Stevens entered the NCAA Transfer Portal this past week and on April 27 reported scholarship offers from the Chippewas and UConn.

A consensus 3-star prep recruit, he originally committed to Eastern Michigan before receiving offers from Michigan State, Indiana and Syracuse.

Stevens, who opted out of the 2020 season, will have four years of eligibility at CMU.

I love that he has four years of eligibility, that is the kind of transfer portal kid you can really build on. One year impact players are nice to plug holes but to build a program there has to be some consistency.
