“She basically said straight, white, Christian males were oppressors and they held all the power and privilege in ­society. We were shocked but it was quite difficult to say anything because she was also talking about LGBTQI+ and if you spoke out against that you feared you’d be called homophobic.”

It's too bad that experience only comes with age.

If only those kids she purposely humiliated had the crust on them that we old guys do, they'd tell her to shut up and go make 'em a sandwich.

Myself and most of the kids i went to HS with would have done just that. What in the world have they done to young people?

In my high school, probably 98% of the males were white and christian.

It's one think to understand the history of white people but it's another thing to blame people who had nothing to do with it.

If that would have happened to my son, I would have loved to have been called to the school because my son told the youth worker where to go. I always told my kids I would support them for standing up for what they believe, even if I didn’t agree with them.

What is wrong with today’s youth. I was raised to question authority, as was my father before me. I raised my son to do the same. That’s what teenagers are supposed to do. How are they ever going to develop into discerning citizens if they believe everything a parent, teacher or pastor tells them.

I guess I answered my own question.

It's the only way they know to dismiss the progress and success of those they hate. Attack one aspect of the past to dismiss all accomplishments that followed. Without that they no longer have anything to moan about. It is why they had to reinvent racism. Old racism is virtually extinct. Therefore new definitions of racism and oppression are needed. The enemy is quite simple to discern. It is anyone who seeks to destroy decades of advancement by attacking history. If the children had been taught how to think this couldn't happen. But this is what happens when the teaching of logic is suspended because some socialist loser calls it racist.
