Yeah, only have one batter currently batting over .300 is terrible. Having one batter batting over .250 is complete dreadful.
Add that with having one pitcher with an ERA below 3.25, then you're asking to have a record of 13-29 in the regular season.
Where does the compare to Ole Miss (using the Rebels as an example), they have 7 betters batting over .300, and 6 pitchers with an era under 3.25.
We just better hope this team doesn't go 20 games under .500. (currently at 16 games under with 12 to go).
I know the players are playing for pride, and ready to get the season over with. It's tough, but I hope they're having fun playing a game that can be fun.
