RE: Christian Pastor Arrested For Saying Marriage is Between a Man and a Woman
Coming to a country near you
Honestly tho, I think they're fighting this war differently here: their goal is to change what the church is teaching, not shut the church down entirely or arrest people or what many other countries that persecute religions do.
I see many, many churches flying Pride flags. That's how they're doing it. If they can change what the church is teaching (mainly convincing people by media, schools, politicians, etc.) then they got power over the church w/out having to throw people in jail.
Churches think they're doing it right, but all it's doing is convincing many people of the hypocrisy of churches, so those churches are pleasing neither the agnostics/atheists or the Bible-believing Christians. But more & more churches make the decision to go down the path anyways. It's going to be a time-consuming battle for the State, but they're going to take many churches down.

Yes, really.
The incident occurred outside Uxbridge Station in west London. A video clip shows the elderly pastor being confronted by police and forcefully handcuffed before being led away.
“I wasn’t making any homophobic comments, I was just defining marriage as a relationship between a man and a woman. I was only saying what the Bible says – I wasn’t wanting to hurt anyone or cause offence,” said John Sherwood, who has been a pastor for 35 years.
“I was doing what my job description says, which is to preach the gospel in open air as well as in a church building,” he added.

Are you mad yet?
Just reading the thread topic I knew this was going to be a UK story.
Let's recall folks, this is the major underlying reason people made a months long harrowing journey across a great ocean to escape the tyranny of religious bigotry.
Now, here we are a scant couple centuries in and we're watching those very freedoms that are enumerated in our founding documents, who hundreds of thousands have perished fighting for, being eroded and hastily dispatched on the altar of the woke supremacists.
It is time to fight back. Not physically (unless necessary) but in our daily lives. We can't let these cultural Marxists win.
