Would you rather have the Big Ten Network be a streaming service?
I imagine responses to this question will along generational lines. I for one, would rather subscribe to a Big Ten streaming service where I could watch a variety of live games and studio shows but also access a library of archived material from seasons past.
I’d much rather do that than subscribe to cable and pay for a bunch of extra stuff I’ll never watch.
What says the rest of you?

RE: Would you rather have the Big Ten Network be a streaming service?
While the world is changing fast, I don't see the arrangement changing in the near future or ever. NOBODY and I mean nobody wants to pay for cable. The last big draw for cable is sports (which have suffered hugely though hopefully not permanently due to wokeness), so any cable company will probably have as a condition for streaming not to be offered without a subscription to the cable service. For this they'll probably give the B1G, SEC, and to a lesser extent the ACC a premium to maintain this arrangement and not lose sports watchers.
It also behooves the conferences as they risk losing older fans/Alumni if they were to switch BTN content to Hulu, or Youtube, or Prime, or Netflix. Even though those are some of the wealthiest companies in the world, if visibility is reduced, I would argue the move wouldn't be worth the money.
The Conference already has BTN Plus as a Streaming service but unless and until Cable goes the way of the dodo bird, I fully expect the arrangement to continue.
