I guess after spring practice & scrimmage he felt he couldn't compete with the players coming in.

That, or he figured he was in rough shape with walkons getting more reps/targets than him with the 1s.
When you are on your way to the 4th or 5th school, who have you been pointing fingers at?......
No lie, I expected him to be our top WR until Shropshire’s late run.

He was never healthy while at UAB, including this spring. It certainly wasn't lack of talent. If he was healthy, I guess he'd be part of the rotation. Hopefully, for him, he can get healthy enough to play somewhere.
