This from a man who nicknamed himself after this fellow:

"On August 27, 2007, Michael Vick, a star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, formally pleads guilty before a Richmond, Virginia, judge to a federal felony charge related to running a dogfighting ring. That December, the 27-year-old Vick, once the highest-paid player in the NFL, was sentenced to 23 months in federal prison."

What an abomination!

From the standpoint of the University, whatever temporary benefit might have been obtained from this, the damage that this has done to the institution is incalculable.

Whether it's done in athletics or in university departments, cheating and rule violations are never worth it.

Yeah, that was sort of a jack ass post. Was that in any way relevant to the subject?

I just assumed you were a Catholic (?) preacher named Mike.

That is nothing. I heard that some of Temple's janitors tosses out the recycling in with the trash.

Sorry, probably deserves its own thread.

So is that conviction in perpetuity?

Wonder if this is to punish Temple for not paying for the "extortion privilege" of building an "On Campus Football Stadium"...

Some people forget how things work in Philadelphia

Where does the on campus stadium stand at this point. Has the LINC become Temple's permanent home. Enjoy games there with easy access off 95 and plenty of tailgate room there also. 04-cheers
