Classical Liberal that believes in the principle of non aggression.

As for the original intent of this thread.

- I consider myself and adult and capable of making my own decisions. I am a registered republican, but support many "liberal beliefs" - I agree with some forms of abortion as an example. Being "conservative" does not, mean I don't care about others, or that I am "greedy" or a facist, or a capitalist or a bigot.
- I am not someone who passes judgement or labels another person without actual cause and reason. Voting for Trump does not make one a Racist or any other label for example.
- I take responsibility and accountability for my own actions. If I am in a bad spot, there is a 99% chance I put myself there.
- I also believe in the law. In short, if I am obeying the law I have nothing to worry about. I do not believe that the basic laws of our country are oppressive, but for the greater good and safety of all of us.


Why am I like this - that is how I was raised by my parents. Not teachers, or government, or anyone else.

Ironically - their platform is almost becoming just as oppressive for the masses as they claim slavery was for POC back in the 1800's. Think about that for a minute....

The very first post here. You must not have a reason to believe what you do. You’re just a follower I suppose. You obviously don’t read very well.

I’m disappointed more of our left wing friends here don’t want to discuss why they feel the way they do. Do they not know why they are liberal?
