How far we have come. There was a time in my life where I thought Tiger football would rarely have a winning season.

I always believed the Tigers could have a winning team. What still worries me is if the city will support them enthusiastically. This year the MooState, Navy, and Tulane games should all be sellouts!

Considering 10 years ago members here called for the university to drop football altogether...
It really did look bleak, and unlikely to turn around.

Nice find. The next step seems to be getting better consistency on the road.

UAB on that list too and they did close up football for a couple of seasons, right?

Tulane? lol
Miss State and Navy will be well attended. Sellouts are tough for various reasons - primarily being the stadium is too large for a G5 program.
Our attendance could be better, but it is fine.
In 2019, the last NCAA attendance year on record, we were the #2 G5 attendance leader, behind only UCF. We were also ahead of 12 P5 programs including Stanford, Illiniois, and Maryland. (And this is based upon the LBMS controversial attendance counts.)
Here is an interesting 5-year analysis of attendance. It shows we are #59, the second highest G5 program, just behind ECU. We are ahead of P5 programs Kansas, Duke, Wake Forest, Vandy, Wash St, BC, Oregon St, Syracuse, and Northwestern. We are also ahead of Boise and UCF, which were at the top of the G5 for a few years prior to our arrival.

We are 26-2 with two losses by a combined 2 points. Over the last 4 years we have averaged 46.7 points per game, while giving up 28.6 points. We went 13-0 in 2019 and 2020. Our most dominant season points wise, was 2018, when we went 7-1 and scored 52.5 points, while giving up 26.1 points. If you take away the 1 point loss to UCF, our next closest game was an 18 point win. From 2017, we have 2 wins with margins of over 50 points, 4 over 40, 8 over 30 and 11 over 20.
In our first 3 seasons when we got good again from 2014-2016, we were 15-4. During our 3 year run from 2003-2005, we were 14-5.

Your numbers have me questioning what sport we're talking about. You mean we went 7-0 in 2019 at home, and 6-0 in 2020 at home in football, right?

Got it... 7-0 plus 6-0 = 13-0. I was thinking you were saying we went 13-0 each season.
