The Tigers already looked tough with the return of four starters from last year’s team that won the NIT and finished with KenPom’s top-ranked defense. That was before Memphis added Earl Timberlake from Miami, Davion Warren from Hampton and Chandler Lawson from Oregon. This should be Penny Hardaway’s best team.

There's a lot of transferring going on. Recruiting, Opting out of the NBA draft.

I see why Chandler wanted to leaver Oregon.

Quote:The Ducks are going to be significantly bigger in 2021-22, with a hopefully healthy N’Faly Dante teaming up with Franck Kepnang and incoming freshman Nathan Bittle to give Oregon three players 6-foot-11 to utilize.

The coach who recruited the Lawsons and was "their guy" got the HC job at Depaul. And they found that Oregon was not Memphis.

Depth probably didn't help. But they wanted to come home.

Now that Warren is out, they'll probably lower us a lot more than 2 spots.
