Failure of the Imperial College model
https://www.aier.org/article/the-failure...n-we-knew/

Article goes over how badly the Imperial College model overstated Covid deaths.

That model was what lead to the lockdowns around the globe.

Article focuses heavily on Sweden which ignored the model's suggestions.

RE: Failure of the Imperial College model
The COVID pandemic was not much ado about nothing. But it was much ado about much-less-than-what-was-claimed. In particular, the sky-is-falling crowd — more precisely, the sky-will-fall-if-you-don’t-do-as-we-say crowd — perpetrated one of the great frauds of all time on a gullible public.

Someday, they will try to run the same basic scam. Probably with threats even more dire and lurid than the ones we heard last year. I think the public will be far less compliant next time.

I speak as someone who got the Covid vaccine (Moderna) as soon as I could. First dose in early January, second dose in early February. I’m not sorry I did that. But the mask-fetish and extended lockdowns were never backed up by any hard data. Most of it was, indeed, “political theater” as Rand Paul and others have aptly described.

Actually he was quoting the Democratic governor of Pennsylvania when he thought he was off camera.
