Miami Red Hawks and Rockets past opponents
I see that they will play Long Island U, NCAA football subdivision team at home. The Redhawks, other than UC cannot attract power 5 teams to come to their place.

I am hoping with the new AD coming in for UT, they still will be able to attract the likes of Miami (Fla), BYU, Boise State, Indiana, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, Purdue, Iowa State, and others to the Glass Bowl.

Teams that I would like to see would be Northwestern, N. Dakota State, UC, Kansas St, Kansas, Kentucky, and Louisville to name a few.

Cincy is not a power 5 school. I agree that a series with Louisville would be awesome, don't think they're out of reach to lure to the Glass Bowl. Memphis, Houston, North Carolina would all be fantastic home games.

all would be fun games with programs that aren't out of reach for a home and home or 2 for 1

I would avoid the service academies and their option attacks, lots of cut blocks and rugged trench play that is hard to prepare for and could result in injuries. Also would avoid Northwestern. Low profile P5 in terms of fan interest but really good tough defense that could make for an ugly game and more injury concerns.

Don't know why Northwestern won't do a home and home with us makes me mad I would have bragging rights with my brother when we beat them twice.

i believe UT had one scheduled around 2000 but it was cancelled. Joplin brought the rockets out for a hoops tourney in 2001? Most coaches in hoops or football don't want to make the trip; expensive, jet lag, time difference, can throw off the team for next game or two. Also UH had a legendarily bad astroturf for a long time and injuries, serious and minor, were common, although they got a good one in now. Hawaii is one of the better states per capita in high school football talent, so, recruiting opportunities attract some programs to play UH. However, most Hawai'i kids prefer going to the west coast, Utah and Arizona where there are networks of local transplants and some cultural connections. Miami during the Big Ben years played in Hawai'i in a spectacular high scoring 1 pt game that came down to a penalty call on a final play fg/extra point.

Hawaii playing on campus the next couple years.

Here's a photo of the field where the new turf will be installed and the new seating and other amenities will be added:

The temporary field is expected to seat 10K but the athletic director mentioned in a radio interview this morning that capacity could be increased to 15K if the NCAA refuses to grant a short-term waiver from the FBS minimum attendance requirement.

Do you have to be "left winger" to find problems with that statement? Maybe I'm in the wrong party, lol.

Real men aren't afraid of rainbows. 03-wink

Warriors or Rainbows, a home and home would be terrific.

If message board is any indication, APP St isn't appealing to some. Not to me for sure. What are the good reasons for establishing that relationship?

App St good program, with a desirable gameday experience-stadium located in a scenic area with
plenty of things to do. Good wining and dining included. Solid fanbase. 8-9 hr. drive time, Toledo
to Boone. Both teams have wins over UM.
